DROPS Air – Light Alpaca Blow Yarn for Airy Sweaters
DROPS Air is the yarn for sweaters and cardigans that look thick and cosy but weigh surprisingly little. Instead of being spun, baby alpaca and merino fibres are blown into a fine tube, so a garment comes out about 30–35% lighter than one knitted in a conventional yarn of the same thickness. It is soft and itch-free against the skin, knits up quickly on 5 mm needles, and shows off cables and textured stitches with a gentle, airy halo.
